O’Callaghan Insurances was founded in 1949 by Leo O’Callaghan Snr to provide an insurance broking service in Dundalk and the surrounding area. It currently has offices at 46 Dublin Street, Dundalk, and at Blackthorn Business Park, Coe's Road, Dundalk.

The company is one of the leading insurance brokers in the north-east and Dublin regions, servicing a large number of commercial clients, personal lines and Private Vehicle clients. O’Callaghan Insurances has enjoyed continual growth during all of its 54 years in business.

O’Callaghan Insurances launched QuoteLine in April 1997, in recognition of the changes in how consumers of car, household and travel insurance buy their policies. QuoteLine began as a telesales operation which arranges car, house and travel insurance at the most competitive premiums available in Ireland over the telephone.

Consumers are able to telephone from all over Ireland at local call rates and obtain a guaranteed quotation and cover if required.
